We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Duty & Assessment Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our dynamic team in Northamptonshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Duty & Assessment QSW, you will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, managing referrals, and responding promptly to safeguarding concerns. Your expertise will help shape the support and interventions provided to vulnerable individuals, making a significant impact on their lives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and determining the needs of children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to develop effective intervention plans. Managing a caseload of referrals, ensuring timely and accurate responses to safeguarding issues. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
