We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Assessment Team Manager to join our dynamic Qualified Social Work team in Bradford. This pivotal role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the duty assessment team, ensuring that high-quality assessments and interventions are delivered to children and families in need. You will lead a team of social workers, providing guidance and support while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and supervising the duty assessment team, ensuring compliance with local policies and statutory requirements. Conducting regular case audits and reviews to maintain high standards of practice. Collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding and welfare. Providing training and support to team members, promoting best practices in assessment and intervention. Contributing to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.Essential qualifications and skills for this role include a recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent), registration with Social Work England, and substantial post-qualifying experience in children’s social services.
