Join our dedicated Locality Team in the East Riding of Yorkshire as a Senior Social Worker. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex cases, providing support and guidance to both your team and service users. You will play a crucial part in promoting the well-being and safeguarding of vulnerable individuals, ensuring that their needs are met through effective intervention and collaboration with partner agencies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored care plans. Supervising and mentoring junior staff, providing training and support. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive service delivery. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Engaging with service users and their families to empower them in their care journey.The ideal candidate will possess a relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should have significant post-qualification experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong assessment and intervention skills. Essential skills include excellent communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
