Are you an experienced social worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of families? We are seeking a dedicated Families First Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Ferryhill, Durham. This role is pivotal in supporting families facing complex challenges, ensuring their needs are met through effective interventions and support strategies.
As a Families First Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Providing supervision and guidance to junior social workers and support staff. Engaging with families in a strengths-based approach to promote positive change. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. A minimum of three years’ experience in a social work setting, preferably within children and family services. Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
