We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Safeguarding Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Cambridgeshire. In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting vulnerable children and families, ensuring their well-being and safety. You will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to provide tailored support and interventions that promote positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of families' needs and risks, ensuring a child-centered approach. Developing and implementing effective care plans that address the unique circumstances of each family. Building strong relationships with children and families to foster trust and engagement. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including health services, education, and law enforcement, to coordinate support services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). HCPC registration as a qualified social worker. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering outcomes.
