We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Safeguarding Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Milton Keynes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. As a Family Safeguarding Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families to assess their needs, develop tailored support plans, and provide ongoing interventions to promote positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and protective factors. Developing and implementing intervention plans that are responsive to the unique circumstances of each family. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities and progress. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding, preferably in a family-focused setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
