Are you a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families in North Yorkshire? We are seeking a FAST (Family Assessment and Support Team) Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Northallerton, and Scarborough Town. This is an exciting opportunity to work with families in need, providing essential support and guidance while ensuring their well-being and safety.

As a FAST Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and interventions to families to promote positive outcomes. Working closely with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with legal and organizational requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
