Join our dedicated Children & Families Team as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in Gloucestershire, where you will play a pivotal role in improving the lives of children and families in our community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate professional who is committed to making a difference. As a QSW, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing effective intervention plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks of children and families. Developing and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and relevant stakeholders. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, promoting their strengths and resilience. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA or MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working in children and families social work. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
