We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Kinship Assessment Team in Gloucestershire. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting kinship carers to provide safe and nurturing environments for children in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of kinship carers to determine their suitability and capacity to care for children. Develop and implement support plans to assist kinship carers in meeting the needs of the children in their care. Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, healthcare providers, and educators, to ensure the well-being of children in kinship care. Provide ongoing guidance and support to kinship carers to enhance their caregiving skills and promote positive outcomes for children.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England. Experience in conducting assessments and working with kinship care arrangements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with kinship carers and other stakeholders.
