Join our dynamic Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Watford, Hertfordshire, where you will play a crucial role in supporting children aged 0-25 with special educational needs and disabilities. We are seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to help us enhance the quality of life for our service users and their families through effective social work practice.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the CWD Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure holistic support for children.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
