Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough investigations into child protection concerns, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices. Collaborating with police, health services, and educational institutions to gather information and develop comprehensive case plans. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, preparing reports, and presenting findings at case conferences and court hearings. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate services and access the necessary resources. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in child protection.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. At least two years of post-qualifying experience in child protection or related fields. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations.
