As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the individual needs of children and families. Providing guidance and support to junior social workers and other team members. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence clearly and effectively. Engaging with families to build trusting relationships and facilitate positive change.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make sound decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
