Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the Lancashire community? We are seeking an experienced QSW to join our Duty & Assessment Team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding vulnerable children and families, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and responding to referrals in a timely manner. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance your professional development.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and assessment work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
