We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Help & Protection team in Buckinghamshire (Amersham). In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families and individuals to ensure their safety and well-being, while providing essential support and guidance. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing needs, developing care plans, and advocating for those in vulnerable situations.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and timely case records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Providing ongoing support and monitoring progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve positive outcomes. Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services and resources.To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
