As a Social Worker in our Help & Protection team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding children and ensuring their welfare. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legislation and policy. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with external agencies.
