We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Ashford, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. The position offers a competitive pay rate of £38 per hour on an Umbrella Company basis. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting children with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to implement interventions and monitor progress. Providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers, helping them navigate available resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions to protect vulnerable children.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
