Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Tameside as a Qualified Social Worker specializing in children's services. In this impactful role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, ensuring they grow up in safe, supportive environments. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to promote the best outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans. Maintaining accurate and detailed case records while adhering to confidentiality standards. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support for children and families. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony when necessary.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding.
