We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Court Team in Aylesbury. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families involved in court proceedings, ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritized.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families involved in court cases. Attending court hearings and providing evidence-based reports to support decision-making. Working collaboratively with legal professionals, health services, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children. Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to review progress and make recommendations for interventions. Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote positive changes and address safeguarding concerns.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work). Registered with Social Work England and up-to-date with CPD requirements. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a court setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.Additional requirements or benefits:
