We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Buckinghamshire ATM Court Team based in Aylesbury. This position offers an attractive rate of up to £42 per hour (umbrella) and provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within the community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to ensure the welfare and protection of vulnerable children and families, striving to achieve positive outcomes and uphold the values of our service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in line with statutory requirements. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and effective support. Representing the local authority in court proceedings, providing evidence and advocating for the best interests of children. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and court work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
