We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Bedford - TM - IFD MASH Team at an attractive rate of £44.50 per hour. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and adults through effective assessment and intervention.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertake complex assessments and make informed decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of service users. Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to coordinate support and interventions for individuals and families in need. Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, adhering to statutory guidelines and best practice. Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders on matters relating to child and adult protection. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in line with departmental standards.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrable experience working within a MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child and adult safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with service users and colleagues. Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and resilient approach to challenging situations.
