We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Team Manager to join our Child Protection (CP) Team in the East Riding of Yorkshire. As a Team Manager, you will lead a team of qualified social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality assessments and interventions that safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and performance management. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies in child protection matters. Overseeing the development and implementation of care plans for children and families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to promote best practices and effective interventions. Conducting regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and professional development.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent). Significant experience in children's social work, with a focus on child protection.
