We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Wirral in the Permanence and Assessment and Intervention role. As a key member of our social work team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and intervening in cases to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable children and families.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and families. Developing and implementing intervention plans to support positive outcomes for children in need of protection. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support to families. Attending court hearings and preparing reports to support legal proceedings related to child protection. Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and interventions in a social work setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional requirements and benefits:
