We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Children in Care (CIC) Team in Sefton. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing the needs and risks of children and families, and developing care plans Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, advocating for their rights and best interests Regularly reviewing and monitoring the progress of children in care, adjusting interventions as neededEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlinesAdditional requirements or benefits:
