The Bradford Children Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced CP Coordinator (CP Chair) to join our dynamic team in the Care (Qualified) field. This pivotal role demands a passionate individual who is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. You will lead and coordinate child protection initiatives, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance the quality of care provided to vulnerable children and families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Chairing multi-agency child protection meetings and ensuring effective communication among all parties involved. Developing and implementing child protection policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices. Conducting regular audits and evaluations of child protection cases to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Providing training and support to staff and volunteers on child protection matters. Acting as a liaison with external agencies, including social services, law enforcement, and educational institutions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant professional qualification in social work, child protection, or a related field. Significant experience in child protection or safeguarding roles, with a proven track record of managing complex cases. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with diverse groups. In-depth knowledge of current legislation and best practices in child protection.

Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? The Bradford Children’s Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team is seeking a qualified social worker to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children who have disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services to thrive.

As a social worker in the CWD Team, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties, including:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard. Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to coordinate care and resources. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities or in a similar field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
