We are seeking passionate and committed professionals to support children and families in navigating the complexities of family law. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children involved in family proceedings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to inform court proceedings. Preparing and presenting reports to the court, highlighting the child’s needs and welfare. Engaging with families to facilitate effective communication and understanding of the legal process. Providing support and guidance to children and families throughout their involvement with CAFCASS. Collaborating with other professionals, including solicitors and local authorities, to promote the best interests of children.To be successful in this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body. Experience working in a child protection or family law setting. Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
