Join our dedicated team in Bromley as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in the Looked After Children (LAC) Team, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable children and young people. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of £37.52 per hour on an Umbrella Company basis. As a QSW in the LAC Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and young people in care and developing tailored support plans. Conducting regular reviews and assessments to ensure the well-being and safety of children. Working collaboratively with families, carers, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with legislation and best practice. Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to care planning and decision-making processes.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with looked after children and an understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
