Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work (CWD) Team in Bromley as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. In this dynamic position, you will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to assess needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions that promote the welfare and development of children. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are empowered and informed. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate services and share information.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
