Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Staffordshire County Council is seeking a skilled QSW/SP for our Duty Team in Cannock. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their wellbeing in our community.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting initial assessments and responding to referrals in a timely manner. Working collaboratively with families to develop and implement effective support plans. Providing advice and guidance to other professionals and agencies involved in child welfare. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and policy requirements. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
