We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment and Intervention Team in Cardiff. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and families Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reportsThe ideal candidate for this role will possess:
A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Care Wales Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to professional standardsAdditional requirements for this position include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
