Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Working closely with partner agencies to ensure integrated support for children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to local policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance your professional development.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
