Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Achieving for Children is seeking a qualified Children's Team Manager (TM) to join our CWD Team. In this crucial role, you will lead a dynamic team of social workers and practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children with disabilities and their families. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a supportive environment that promotes the well-being and development of vulnerable children.

As a Children's TM, your key responsibilities will include:

Managing and supervising a team of social workers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective case management. Overseeing the assessment and planning processes for children with disabilities, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated services that meet the needs of children and families. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing improvements where necessary to enhance service delivery. Providing training and development opportunities for team members to foster professional growth.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body. Significant experience in children’s social work, particularly in working with children with disabilities. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and stakeholders.
