We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our AP - CP/Safeguarding Team in Coalville, Leicestershire. This is a temporary position offering an attractive rate of £40 per hour (umbrella). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding children and supporting families in our community. Your expertise and commitment will help ensure the safety and well-being of those in need.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of complex cases while maintaining accurate records and documentation. Working closely with colleagues in multi-agency teams to ensure cohesive support for children and families. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
