Join our dedicated Family Support & Intervention Team in Conwy as a Children's Social Worker. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to assess needs, develop intervention plans, and provide ongoing support to ensure the well-being and safety of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers to enhance family functioning.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Experience in child protection and family support work, preferably within a local authority setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child welfare.
