We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Support & Intervention Team in Conwy. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to families in need within the region.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of families and develop appropriate support plans. Providing direct support and intervention to families facing challenges such as domestic violence, substance abuse, neglect, or mental health issues. Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and community resources to ensure holistic support for families. Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court hearings as required. Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.

The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Care Wales. Demonstrated experience in working with families in crisis and vulnerable situations. Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify needs and develop effective support plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families, colleagues, and external partners. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload efficiently.

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in child protection, court work, or working with children and families in a statutory setting will be highly valued.
