We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in the area.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to provide holistic support Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situationsThe ideal candidate for this role will possess:
A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong knowledge of child protection procedures, legislation, and best practices Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadAdditional requirements for this position may include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the region.
