As a member of our team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support children and promote their welfare. Collaborating with various agencies, including schools, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and legislation. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access resources and services that promote their children's well-being.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
