The London Borough of Croydon is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team. Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and young people with disabilities. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and external agencies to coordinate support services. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Child Protection and Children in Need Team in Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children and their families. The role offers a competitive rate of £39.04 per hour on an Umbrella basis, providing you with the flexibility and support you need to excel in your position.

As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with other professionals. Providing supervision and guidance to junior social workers and support staff. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
