We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CIC / LAC Social Worker to join our team in Darlington. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work field, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children in care and children looked after.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children in need Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations for further interventions

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in CIC / LAC settings Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and safeguarding Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services Registration with Social Work England Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
