As a Social Worker in Safeguarding, you will be responsible for:
Assessing the needs and risks of individuals and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with service users and relevant agencies. Conducting thorough investigations and assessments in cases of suspected abuse or neglect. Building strong relationships with families, community organizations, and other professionals to facilitate effective support networks. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with safeguarding policies.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in safeguarding and child protection services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
