Join our dedicated Locality Team in Derbyshire as a Children’s Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and enhancing the lives of children and families in our community. As a Children’s Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices. Providing support and guidance to families, facilitating access to resources and services. Working closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to promote the welfare of children. Documenting case progress and maintaining accurate records in line with safeguarding protocols.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, including knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
