Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? The Isle of Man is seeking a qualified social worker to join our Children's SW - MASH Team. In this rewarding role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring they receive the support and services they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns. Providing direct support to children and their families, promoting their emotional and social well-being. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.To be successful in this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (degree or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England or equivalent regulatory body. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
