We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Kent (Dover) focusing on Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP). In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children in our community. Your expertise will help us provide essential support and interventions to improve family dynamics and promote positive outcomes for children.
As a Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with regulatory standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working closely with schools, health services, and other community organizations. Providing emotional support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and working with children in need. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
