We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Safeguarding Team in Enfield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £37.52 on an Umbrella basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring their needs are met through effective interventions and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current Social Work England registration. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
