We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Thurrock Children & Families Assessment Team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need within the Thurrock area.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks Develop and implement care plans to support the well-being and safety of children Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to provide holistic support Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and professional standardsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in children and families services Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in child protection Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholders Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseloadAdditional requirements:
