We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Children's Services to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with children and their families to provide essential support, guidance, and advocacy. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting their emotional and social development. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to create comprehensive support plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing intervention plans to address identified issues. Providing counseling and support to children and families facing challenges. Facilitating access to resources and services, including mental health support, educational assistance, and housing services. Documenting case notes and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Current social work licensure in the relevant state. Experience working with children and families in a social services setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and relevant social service resources.Additional requirements include a valid driver's license and the ability to pass background checks.
