Join our dedicated Locality Team in North Yorkshire as a Children's Social Worker, where you will play a critical role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families within our vibrant community. We are seeking passionate and committed individuals who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people. This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to provide support and guidance to those in need.

As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans that are tailored to individual circumstances. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders. Providing direct support and intervention to families facing challenges. Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's social work, preferably within a locality team. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport. Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied caseload effectively.
