We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker (SW) or Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children in Need (CIN) Team in Harrow. As a Senior SW/QSW in the CIN Team, you will be responsible for a range of key duties that include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need. Managing a caseload of complex cases while ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and students, fostering their professional development. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to deliver effective support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with safeguarding protocols.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in children’s social work, particularly within a CIN framework. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
