We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Child Protection Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Hounslow. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of £45 per hour (umbrella) and is ideal for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of child protection. As a Lead Child Protection Practitioner, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
Leading and managing child protection cases, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines. Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective child protection plans. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to safeguard children and promote their welfare. Providing supervision and support to junior practitioners and social work students. Engaging with families to understand their needs and empower them towards positive change.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Extensive experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
