Conducting comprehensive reviews of foster care placements to ensure the welfare and best interests of children are prioritized. Collaborating with foster carers, social workers, and other professionals to gather relevant information and insights. Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to fostering panels and relevant stakeholders. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of foster placements, making recommendations for improvements where necessary. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with local authority policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England.
