Join our dedicated Assessment Team in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire as a Social Worker, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals and families in need. In this position, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop tailored support plans, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while working within a supportive and dynamic team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of individuals and families to identify their needs and strengths. Developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to enhance professional development.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with an ability to develop effective intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Experience working within a statutory social work setting is highly desirable.
