Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their engagement in the process. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local policies. Attending court hearings and presenting evidence as required to safeguard children’s welfare. Working collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver integrated services.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity for empathy and resilience.
