Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Court Team in Northamptonshire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and improving the lives of children and families. In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will work closely with children, parents, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and represent the best interests of children in court proceedings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Preparing and presenting reports for court, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely. Maintaining case records and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Providing support and guidance to families, facilitating access to resources and services.To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and court work. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
