Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families? We are seeking an experienced QSW to join our Children’s Safeguarding Team in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can contribute to safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their welfare and development.
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans in line with statutory obligations. Working collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children. Managing a caseload of children in need and those subject to child protection plans. Participating in multi-agency meetings and providing expert advice on safeguarding issues. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA Social Work, MA Social Work, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
