Join our dedicated team in Loughborough as a Senior Social Worker within the Child Protection and Children in Need (CP/CIN) Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced social worker looking to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in Leicestershire. In this role, you will lead assessments, support planning, and intervention strategies, ensuring that the welfare and safety of children are at the forefront of all activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing expert guidance and supervision to junior staff and students. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legislative requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to advocate for the needs of children and families.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant post-qualification experience in child protection and safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a commitment to best practice.
