We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s SP - MASH Team in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families within our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to provide effective support and intervention.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Participating in multi-agency meetings to share information and coordinate services. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive outcomes for children.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA Hons in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
