We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker specializing in Children with Disabilities (CWD) to join our team in Windsor & Maidenhead. Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and their families to develop tailored care plans Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, advocating for their rights and best interests Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and educators, to ensure holistic care Conducting risk assessments and safeguarding investigations as necessary Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and reviews to monitor progress and outcomesEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in working with children with disabilities Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in child protection and safeguarding Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders Excellent assessment and decision-making abilities, with a focus on promoting the well-being of children and families Ability to work under pressure, manage challenging situations, and prioritize workload effectivelyAdditional requirements or benefits:
