Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Children’s Social Work Team (CSWT) in Kent, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including families, schools, and healthcare providers, to create and implement effective care plans that promote positive outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and maintaining effective case plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual circumstances. Providing support and guidance to families, offering resources and services that empower them. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate interventions and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, preferably within a statutory setting. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a caseload effectively.
