We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection/Child in Need (CP/CIN) Team in Maidstone, Kent. As a Qualified Social Worker in our CP/CIN Team, you will be responsible for a variety of key duties, including:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the safety and well-being of children. Working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local authority policies. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA Hons in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and working within a CP/CIN framework. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
