We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Agency FCA - CAFCASS (Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service) position in the Qualified Social Work field to join our team. As an Agency FCA - CAFCASS, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to children and families involved in court proceedings.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments of children and families to determine their needs and best interests. Preparing reports for court hearings to provide recommendations on child welfare and protection. Working collaboratively with legal professionals, social workers, and other agencies to ensure the well-being of children. Advocating for the rights and voices of children in court proceedings. Providing support and guidance to families to help them navigate the legal system and access necessary services.

Essential qualifications and skills for this role:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with the relevant regulatory body. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting, preferably within the court system. Strong assessment and analytical skills to make informed decisions about child welfare. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work under pressure and manage complex cases effectively.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Maidstone. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies. Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote their well-being and safety. Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Proven experience working within a Children's Services setting, preferably in an assessment team. Excellent assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and manage a complex caseload.

In addition to the essential qualifications and skills, candidates with experience in using relevant IT systems and software will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of Children's Social Work.
