We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Assessment & Duty team in Margate, Kent, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour (umbrella). This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, managing cases, and providing support to families in need, while working collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver effective interventions.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in line with statutory requirements. Developing and implementing care plans that address the identified needs of children and families. Managing a caseload, ensuring timely and effective service delivery. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support and interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong assessment and analytical skills.
